Rita has considerable experience in dealing with Criminal Law and Employment Law.

Rita has been a Barrister for 15 years and holds a first-class Law Degree (LLB Hons). Rita specialises in criminal law, having successfully defended clients in both judge alone and jury trials, who face criminal charges such as murder, drug offences, assault, theft and sexual offending.

She also provides cost-effective representation on all traffic matters including excess breath alcohol and limited licence applications.

In addition to criminal law, Rita specialises in employment law, having been an HR Manager with both Fonterra and Carter Holt.

She's adept at resolving disputes quickly and effectively, and works with businesses to guide them through disciplinary action, performance management and redundancy processes.
